A storyteller first, student of human nature second, and explorer of new worlds third, E.B.H. Maruska has always loved a good book and a well-crafted plot. She first discovered the joy of storytelling in kindergarten. Since then, her imagination has run wild with new characters and storylines. They threaten to keep her up at night if she does not get them out of her head and onto the page, but they are delightful company at a slow party. Her favorite activity when watching a movie or reading a book is to figure out the "big reveal" before intended. Trained as an architect, E.B.H. enjoys the structure of a plot. Her favorite characters include Robin Hood, Jane Eyre, Sherlock Holmes, and Beatrice from Much Ado About Nothing. E.B.H. Maruska currently works as an architect and lives in Wisconsin with her spouse.
E.B.H. Maruska goes where the story leads, covering a broader range of genres – what the story needs, as she says. Stories range from historical fiction to fantasy to contemporary coming of age, but always exploring the reality of the spiritual, the value of found family, and the power of being well known. E.B.H. Maruska pledges real: real emotion, real history, real dilemma. If it is not there, she wants to know.
E.B.H. Maruska has been trying to balance full-time work with the publishing journey and is looking forward to sharing her path. Follow her on social media to get the latest updates!
